Find out more about what life and training in China involves, the processes for enrolling, learning our methods, and traveling to our school truly are like.

Everything you need to know

1 . Transports

Buy a roundtrip ticket from your home country to Beijing/Shanghai and from there to Zhengzhou

You can also take the train from Beijing/Shanghai to Zhengzhou

We can send someone to pick you up with the taxi if you wish, but there are also buses going from Zhengzhou to Dengfeng

2 . Visa

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the time you spend in China.

Get a visa at your closest Chinese embassy – there should be one in most bigger cities. You can also do this via a travel or visa agency.

Chinese tourist visas (L), the easiest option, can be made for a maximum 3 months duration.

Short term study visas (X2) can be made for a maximum 6 months duration.

For this visa, you will need an invitation letter from a person or institution in China – or a hotel reservation (we will make this invitation for you), your passport, and a completely filled out visa application form.

The embassy might also require a photocopy of your passport, the plane ticket or it’s order confirmation, or other documents.

3 . Insurance

  • Make sure subscribe to a complete medical insurance that will cover the possible accidents, injuries and sicknesses during your travel & training.

  • The insurance should cover the fees of health itself (hospital, medicine, etc.) as well as repatriation – the way back home in case of an emergency.

  • Verify whether these are not already covered by your actual insurance.

4 . Formalities at the school

  • The payment can be done as soon as you arrive, and monthly, in case you stay longer.

  • Take 2 or more ID size photos for the arrival & registration forms which you’ll have to fill out on your first day here.

  • You may ask for a certificate (make sure you do so a few days before leaving – not too late)

5 . Others

  • Our seasonal temperatures can be quite extreme. While you can buy anything in town, it is advised to take enough clothes especially if you come during winter.

  • Take some basic medications – for example muscle pain ointments, disinfectants, bandages, etc. (you never know…)

  • Take at least 2 different credit / debit cards, and make sure to contact your bank beforehand and ask them to unblock the cards in China.
